Welcome To Brawl Gear
Brawl Gear was established in 2012 with a sole aim of creating a South African home grown combat sport and life style brand. Over the years we have learnt what works best in the combat sport arena and have strived to innovate, design, manufacture and distribute our products across the African continent. We keep ourselves abreast of what modern day athletes require by means of consistent research and development and engagements with top athletes in respective domains. We also strive to enable and empower upcoming athletes and youth by means of giving back to the athletes as we believe we are nothing with out your support and dedication to your craft.
Our Story
Brawl Gear was founded by Mohamed Riyaz Bhyat a boxing, sport and outdoor enthusiast in 2012. A dental technician by profession which infers his attention to detail and perfection in all that he sets his mind too. He has been involved in boxing for the past 20 years and is what you call the real deal. He has boxed, coached, manufactured custom play safe mouth guards, built community and commercial boxing/fitness gyms and even created boxing aids like the brawl gear boxing hat. The Brawl Gear brand has evolved into a boxing fitness brand that is found in leading South African boxing Gyms and is also now being used on the professional and amateur circuits.
The Box Camp
The Box Camp was founded in 2012 with the aim of empowering & unifying the community through the sport of boxing. As of 2020 The Box Camp has expanded into a world class boxing gym and venue in the South of Johannesburg hosting local and international professional boxing tournaments. Our vision is not only aimed at professional boxing but our goal is to develop the sport of boxing by bringing new people & enthusiasts to the sport through fun and interactive Boxercise Classes.
Our Classes
Monday – Thursday Evenings (18:30pm to 19:45pm)
Tuesday – Friday Morning (6:00am to 7:00am) *Males Only
Tuesday – Thursday Morning (8:30am to 9:30am) *Females Only
Tuesday & Thursday Kiddies (17:15pm to 18:15pm)
Pro Classes – Monday to Friday (11:00am to 13:00pm)
Our Fees
1 class per week @ R450 per month
2 classes per week @ R500 per month
3 classes per week @ R550 per month
Unlimited classes @ R650 per month
